Rosetta Stone is the foremost provider of computer based language learning software. Teaching over 30 languages to people across the world, Rosetta Stone has revolutionized the way we learn to communicate with one another. In their constant quest to improve the way people learn languages, Rosetta looked to Tableau to help them uncover valuable insight from their data. In order to achieve this, they needed a complete overhaul of their data infrastructure. Additionally, they required top-notch Tableau training across the organization.
Rosetta Stone called on InterWorks to fulfill their data infrastructure and Tableau needs. InterWorks began by constructing a data environment optimized for Tableau Server. They worked extensively to help Rosetta build both high-level views and focused datasets. Once InterWorks set up the ideal environment and processes, they began Tableau training across Rosetta’s FP&A, Sales and Marketing teams. Training wasn’t limited to groups only. InterWorks followed up group training sessions with one-on-one training for Rosetta employees, ensuring each individual was proficient in Tableau and ETL best practices.
After their time with InterWorks, Rosetta saw that old problems such as slow reporting, end-user confusion and workload redundancy had vanished. By moving all their reports off of OBIEE to Tableau and utilizing the data structures created by InterWorks, Rosetta analysts can now create detailed reports almost instantaneously. InterWorks’ implementation of a sustainable Tableau Server environment gave Rosetta the tools to keep answering questions about their data. The quality Tableau training they received endowed them with the skills to use these tools effectively. Working in harmony with Rosetta’s innovative approach to learning, InterWorks taught Rosetta the most valuable lesson of all: how to speak data.
