CHALLENGE:

After working with many oil and gas lease brokers over the years, InterWorks identified a common business problem among brokers. Natural fluctuations of the energy market cause an often rapid increase in demand for lease broker services, causing brokers to quickly grow their staff of landmen.

SOLUTION:

InterWorks built a web-based application, named Landboss, leveraging ASP.NET and SQL Server. Landboss greatly simplifies the process of tracking employee time, calculating payroll, and invoicing clients. Landboss also solves the problem of tracking oil leases by allowing customers to store lease data and lease files electronically.

RESULTS:

With an ever growing list of Landboss customers around the country, InterWorks is receiving continuous positive feedback about Landboss. Customers are reporting drastic decreases in costs associated with their time and billing processes, as well as their lease acquisition and management processes.
