InterWorks Achieves Snowflake Premier Partner Status for Asia Pacific

InterWorks takes a lot of pride in both the quality of our work and the quality of our partnerships, and one of our favorite partnerships happens to be with Snowflake. For the past few years, we’ve worked closely with Snowflake to transform how organizations across the globe interact with their data via Snowflake’s powerful and flexible Data Cloud. That’s why it gives us great pleasure to share that InterWorks Australia has officially achieved Snowflake Premier Partner status for Asia Pacific.

“We are delighted to certify InterWorks as a Premier Partner in APAC,” said Ash Willis, Vice President, Partner and Alliances APJ, Snowflake. “As organisations across the region choose the Snowflake Data Cloud, we are proud of how Snowflake’s technology and InterWorks’ services have come together to help our customers, like the Australian Football League and Momentum Energy, to gain better business insights to solve their key business challenges.”

InterWorks’ Path to Premier Status

There are many reasons why Snowflake is immensely popular among our clients in Australia, New Zealand and beyond. Much of that has to do with the incredible nature of Snowflake’s technology itself. Organizations big and small find a lot of value in how performant and scalable Snowflake is, as well as its many integrations with visual analytics platforms like Tableau Software. That’s where InterWorks intersects with Snowflake.

As Tableau’s first services partner, InterWorks has a long history of helping our clients level up their analytics efforts and utilize Tableau with maximum effect. In doing that work, we became familiar with countless variations of databases, data warehouses, data lakes and so on. For many years, it felt like the data architecture realm was stagnant or hesitant to push innovation too far. Then, we discovered Snowflake. It didn’t take long for our people to fall in love with their technology and subsequently spark up a conversation about becoming a Snowflake partner.

Around the same time we kicked off our new partnership with Snowflake, InterWorks Australia was getting a foothold in the market. As we grew both our partnership and our people, Snowflake expertise became a core competency for our Australian practice. The more we implemented Snowflake successfully for out clients in Asia Pacific, the more we found ourselves pursuing that type of work. Fast-forward to today, and we’ve helped dozens of organizations in the region utilize Snowflake to speed up and scale analytics in some pretty cool ways. These efforts ultimately led to InterWorks Australia claiming two Snowflake Partner of the Year awards in 2019 and 2021.

“Our mission is a pretty simple one. We aim to give clients amazing results with their data and analytics. Snowflake is our main partnership around data because of its game-changing scalability, versatility and value. We’re very excited to continue to grow the InterWorks partnership with Snowflake here in Australia, Singapore and all of Asia Pacific.”

Robert Curtis, Regional Director, APAC, InterWorks

What Does the New Status Mean for Clients?

Functionally, InterWorks’ new Premier Partner Status doesn’t change the level of service and care we provide to our Snowflake clients across the region. What it does mean, however, is that InterWorks will work even closer with Snowflake to develop new resources and accelerate client success in new ways. For organizations that aren’t InterWorks clients, this new partner status is confirmation that the InterWorks team is an excellent choice for anyone looking to make Snowflake part of their analytics stack. If this is you, we’d love to talk about your needs and coordinate a custom Snowflake proof-of-concept using data you already have. Let’s get started!
